Dr. Imran Aslam is a UK-trained Consultant Pulmonologist with over 20 years of experience across the United Kingdom and the UAE. He plays a key role at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital in advancing respiratory services and supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
In his role, Dr. Imran contributes to the development of respiratory care pathways, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary collaboration. He supports the hospital’s strategic direction in enhancing specialized services, strengthening clinical integration, and improving patient outcomes in line with M42 standards.
Dr. Imran completed his postgraduate training in the United Kingdom and holds MRCP, FRCP (London), and CCST in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine, along with the European Diploma in Respiratory Medicine (HERMES). Prior to joining SSBZH, he served as a Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, where he led key initiatives in chronic cough and pleural disease services.
He has a strong interest in advanced pulmonary procedures, medical education, and service development, and is actively involved in training and quality improvement initiatives.
