Dr. Moza Al Zaabi is the Chief Executive Officer of Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital (SSBZH), bringing over two decades of leadership experience in healthcare management, clinical practice, and hospital operations across the UAE. A highly accomplished Consultant Paediatrician and senior C-suite executive, Dr. Moza combines deep clinical expertise with strategic leadership to drive excellence in patient care and organizational performance.
Dr. Moza is widely recognized for her role in shaping healthcare institutions in the UAE. She previously served as the Founding CEO of Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital in Dubai, where she led the planning, commissioning, and successful operation of the hospital. She also held the position of Founding CEO of Adam Vital Ortho-Spinal & Sports Medicine Hospital, further strengthening her track record in establishing and transforming healthcare facilities.
Throughout her career, Dr. Moza has demonstrated a strong ability to lead complex healthcare systems, optimize operational efficiency, and deliver sustainable growth. Her leadership approach is centered on innovation, patient-centered care, and long-term impact, making her a key figure in advancing healthcare services within the region.
In addition to her executive roles, Dr. Moza has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah and has held senior clinical positions at Al Qassimi Hospital. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Innovation Panel Healthcare Solutions, reflecting her continued commitment to advancing healthcare innovation.
Dr. Moza holds a Bachelor of Medicine (MBBCh) from Cairo University, a Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH – UK), and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She is also a graduate of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Development Program.
