Imaging – Radiation Safety
At Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, we place great emphasis on the safe and effective use of radiation in the diagnosis, treatment and research of patients.
The Quality and Safety team oversees radiation safety programs and provides ongoing training to caregivers, supporting initiatives such as the ‘Image Wisely and Gently’ pledge. The hospital strictly adheres to best practices and regulatory standards and ensures patient safety by continuous monitoring and reporting and adhering to protocols that utilize the lowest appropriate radiation levels.
