Dr. Abir Ibrahim Al Raisi is a highly experienced Family Medicine Specialist with nearly two decades of clinical expertise spanning the UAE and Oman. Dr. Al Raisi holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain and earned her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP – International) in Dubai. She later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes in Primary Care from the University of Warwick in Ireland, further refining her ability to manage chronic conditions in the community.
Her clinical background includes leadership and primary care roles across several government and preventive health institutions. Most recently, Dr. Al Raisi served as a Family Medicine Specialist at Zulekha Medical Hospital (Al Falah and Al Batayeh branches) in Sharjah, where she provided comprehensive care for acute, chronic, and urgent walk-in cases. She also held a senior post with the Ministry of Health's Preventive Medicine Department as Deputy Director, contributing to strategic planning and overseeing infectious disease programs including HIV, hepatitis B, and tuberculosis.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Al Raisi practiced in Dibba, Oman, and undertook internship rotations across top hospitals in Muscat, gaining broad exposure to internal medicine, surgery, and obstetrics and gynecology.
