Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Elias Eltoum is a skilled Orthopedic Surgery Specialist with over 10 years of experience across the UAE, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia. He is committed to providing evidence-based care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on trauma management, fracture care, and joint reconstruction.
Dr. Elias currently practices at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, where he manages both elective and emergency orthopedic cases. His work spans a wide range of procedures including fracture fixation, arthroplasty (joint replacement), and the management of complex orthopedic trauma cases. He is also experienced in robotic-assisted surgery and postoperative rehabilitation planning.
He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Medical Sciences & Technology in Sudan. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board and a Master’s in Human Clinical Anatomy from the National University in Sudan. Dr. Elias also holds Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (MRCS), and is licensed to practice in the UAE, Ireland, and Sudan.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Elias served as an Orthopedic Surgery Resident at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi and as a Registrar at the Sudan Medical Specialization Board. He also undertook numerous clinical attachments and professional development courses in the UAE, Germany, and Sudan, including specialized training in robotic joint replacement and fracture management.
Dr. Elias is dedicated to continuous learning and has presented at several regional and international orthopedic conferences. He strives to deliver patient-centered orthopedic care that improves function, mobility, and quality of life.
