Dr. Ahmed Soliman is a seasoned Emergency Medicine Consultant with over 20 years of experience across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the broader Middle East. He currently practices at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, where he provides evidence-based, high-acuity emergency care, supports trauma and resuscitation protocols, and contributes to departmental development and clinical training.
Dr. Ahmed’s clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of emergency medicine, including the management of critically ill patients in resuscitation units, acute care clinics, and emergency triage. His work at King Saud Medical City in Riyadh, one of the busiest trauma referral centers in the region, positioned him at the forefront of Level 1 trauma care—overseeing emergency departments treating approximately 100,000 patients per year. During his time there, he chaired the Emergency Department’s Morbidity and Mortality Committee and actively contributed to policy development and emergency care standardization.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Hussein is actively involved in academic activities and teaching. He has trained emergency medicine diploma candidates and Saudi Board residents, and continues to mentor interns and junior staff at SSBZH. He has contributed to journal clubs and published educational content drawn from real-time emergency care experiences.
Dr. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from Benha University and completed his Egyptian Fellowship for Emergency Medicine in 2011. He earned his Arab Board Certification in Emergency Medicine in 2016, followed by the Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM – UK) in 2017.
His earlier career included roles at high-volume tertiary and trauma care hospitals across Cairo, including Alzaitoun Specialized Hospital, National Bank Hospital, and Cairo University Hospitals. He has also participated in numerous international medical conferences and advanced trauma and critical care training workshops in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the US, and the UK.
