Dr. Ganju has more than 10 years of medical experience, with a strong focus on emergency and critical care medicine.
He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ningxia Medical University, China, in 2012. He later completed a Diploma in Emergency Medicine affiliated with the Royal Liverpool Academy, NHS Trust, UK.
Dr. Ganju played a key role in the critical care unit at Aster Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has contributed to the field of critical care medicine through academic authorship, having written chapters on “Management of Massive Hemoptysis” in Decision Making in Critical Care Medicine and “Risk Scoring Systems in Upper Gastro-intestinal Bleed” in Contemporary Topics in Critical Care Medicine.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Ganju served as a Senior General Practitioner in the ICU at Canadian Specialist Hospital, UAE.
Dr. Ganju’s scope of practice includes the comprehensive care and management of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He collaborates closely with intensivists, nurses, and other specialists in a high-acuity environment to ensure timely assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based treatment for patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, multi-organ dysfunction, and trauma.
Invasive and non-invasive ventilation, septic shock management, acute respiratory failure, myocardial infarction management, invasive line insertions, and the application of evidence-based practices in critical care settings.
