With over 15 years of experience in general practice, Dr. Chetan Dev Rathi delivers holistic, patient-centered care across a wide range of clinical settings. He has worked extensively in both outpatient and inpatient environments, serving diverse populations in the UAE and Pakistan.
Dr. Chetan holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Pakistan, and a Diploma in Family Medicine from Ziauddin University, Karachi. He received his license from the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (formerly HAAD) in 2012.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Chetan served as a General Practitioner at Military Hospital in Sharjah from 2015. He also held positions at New National Medical Centre in Mussafah, Gulbanoo & Bujor Anklesaria Nursing Home, Dr. Ziauddin University Hospital, Hajiani Day & Night Hospital, and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, where he completed his internship in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology, and ENT.
His scope of practice includes preventive care, chronic disease management, and minor procedures such as wound care, catheterization, ECG interpretation, and IV access. He has a special interest in antenatal health, neonatal screenings, and health education — with a strong commitment to culturally sensitive and community-focused care.
