Dr. Ehsan Ul Haq is an experienced General Practitioner with over two decades of clinical practice across the UAE, Pakistan, and Russia, specializing in emergency and critical care. With a strong background in intensive care unit (ICU), emergency room (ER), and outpatient care, Dr. Ehsan is known for his calm demeanor in high-pressure situations and his ability to deliver accurate diagnoses, effective treatment plans, and patient-centered care in urgent and complex medical settings.
Dr. Ehsan earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a specialization in General Medicine from Kazan State Medical University in Russia, followed by a rotating internship at affiliated university hospitals. He has also undergone additional training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), enhancing his capabilities in emergency care. He has completed certifications through institutions such as George Mason University and Agha Khan University Hospital, and has also trained in counseling and difficult communication scenarios.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Ehsan practiced as a Medical Practitioner with Global Medical Solution. His earlier roles include extensive ICU and emergency medicine experience at leading hospitals in Dubai and Karachi, such as International Modern Hospital, Saifee Hospital Trust, Mamji General & Orthopaedic Hospital, and Aman Health Care Services (Aman Foundation). He has also worked in psychiatry, family medicine, and surgical departments, making him a versatile and well-rounded physician.
Dr. Ehsan currently serves in the Emergency Department at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, where he handles urgent and acute cases, stabilizes critical patients, performs emergency procedures, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care delivery. He is recognized for his teamwork, diagnostic acumen, and ability to support patients and families during challenging situations.
