Dr. Faria Sabha Khan is a General Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience across India and the UAE, with a focus on emergency medicine, intensive care, and acute care management. Her practice combines rigorous postgraduate training with frontline hospital experience in high-pressure settings, ensuring swift and skilled responses in critical situations.
Dr. Khan earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Government Medical College in Srinagar, affiliated with the University of Kashmir. She later completed a Master’s in Emergency Medicine (MEM) from George Washington University in collaboration with Max Hospitals in India, further strengthening her ability to manage trauma, resuscitation, and acute presentations. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and neonatal resuscitation.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Khan held several posts across tertiary hospitals in India and the UAE. She worked as a House Surgeon in Radiodiagnosis, Surgery, and the Blood Bank (Gynecology) departments at SMHS and LD Hospitals in Srinagar. She later served as a Postgraduate Scholar and Attending Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Max Hospital in New Delhi. Her most recent role before relocating to Abu Dhabi was as an Emergency Resident at Zulekha Hospital in Sharjah, where she delivered round-the-clock emergency care and triage services for nearly two years.
At Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Khan currently works in the Emergency Department, where she assesses and manages a wide range of urgent and acute cases. Her day-to-day responsibilities include stabilizing critically ill patients, initiating emergency treatment protocols, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care.
