Dr. Hisham Abdelwahab is a seasoned Consultant Nephrologist with over 20 years of medical experience. He joins Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital with extensive expertise in managing complex kidney conditions and providing advanced dialysis care, built through years of practice in the UAE and abroad.
Dr. Hisham completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) before going on to earn a Master of Medical Science (MMedSci). He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), trained under the Royal College of Physicians and Postgraduate Medical Education & Training Board in the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Hisham served as a Consultant Nephrologist at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi. In this role, he led the delivery of evidence-based care for patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and other renal disorders, while also overseeing dialysis services.
