Dr. Mohammad Ahsan is a specialist anesthesiologist with over seven years of clinical experience across India and the UAE. His expertise covers a wide range of anesthesia modalities including general anesthesia for bariatric, laparoscopic, orthopedic, neurosurgical, vascular, ENT, gynecologic, and cosmetic procedures; as well as spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia with a focus on ultrasound-guided nerve blocks. He is also skilled in labor analgesia, pediatric anesthesia, airway management, and postoperative pain management.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Ahsan served as a specialist anesthetist at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), where he worked across multiple surgical disciplines and remote procedural settings such as MRI, ECT, and endoscopy. Before relocating to the UAE, he held various anesthesiology positions in India, including Assistant Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Wardha, and specialist roles at Apple Hospital and the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Hospital in Aurangabad. Earlier in his career, he completed a registrarship and fellowship in pain management, with dedicated training in ultrasound-guided blocks.
Dr. Ahsan earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Aurangabad (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences), and holds a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Anesthesiology from Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad. He has completed certified training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and a focused course in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia.
