Dr. Mohammed Al Assouli is a General Practitioner with broad clinical experience across emergency care, intensive care, and primary care settings. He has built his medical career through hands-on practice in hospital-based emergency departments and multidisciplinary clinical rotations, giving him strong exposure to acute patient assessment, urgent care, and general medical management.
Dr. Al Assouli obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and General Surgery from Aden University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Yemen, in 2006–2007. He also completed a one-year internship at Aden University Teaching Hospitals, with rotations in General Surgery, Orthopedics and Urology, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics.
He further completed a 12-month clinical attachment internship under DHA from 2008 to 2009, covering both surgical and medical disciplines. His surgical rotations included General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Anesthesia, and Accident & Emergency (Trauma Center). His medical rotations included Pediatrics, Cardiology, Nephrology, Primary Health Care, Psychiatry, and Radiology and Imaging.
Dr. Al Assouli holds a Ministry of Health Medical Practice Evaluation Certificate dated 10 March 2013. Over the course of his career, he worked as a GP Resident for three years at Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital in Ajman, including 18 months in the Accident & Emergency Department and 18 months as an ICU Resident. He also gained additional experience at Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, where he worked in Accident & Emergency, Nephrology, and Ophthalmology. Since 3 October 2016, he has been working as a General Practitioner in the A/E Department and PCC at University Hospital Sharjah.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Al Assouli served as an examiner for the Clinical Skills (OSCE) examination at the University of Sharjah in 2023. He has completed Basic Life Support (BLS) training and the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Course. He is fluent in Arabic and has very good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
