Dr. Mohammed Saadi Taha is a highly experienced general surgeon with over two decades of clinical expertise. He currently serves as a Specialist General Surgeon at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital. He initially joined the facility, formerly known as Zayed Military Hospita,l and has been a dedicated part of its surgical team since 2013, contributing to both elective and emergency surgical care.
Before joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Taha held various roles across the UAE’s healthcare landscape, including Al Zahra Private Hospital in Sharjah and the Emergency Departments at Kuwaiti Hospital and Riffa Medical Center. He began his surgical career in Baghdad, Iraq, completing extensive training across teaching hospitals as part of the national residency program.
Dr. Taha holds a Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCS) and a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from the World Laparoscopy Hospital in Delhi. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from Al Nahrain University in Baghdad in 2000 and has been licensed as a Specialist Surgeon by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi since 2013.
