Dr. Yagi has 14 years of expertise in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Yagi earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2006 from the University of Bahri, formerly Upper Nile University in Sudan. He completed his training program and was awarded the Clinical Medical Doctorate (MD) degree in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery in 2015 from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board. Furthering his expertise, Dr. Yagi completed an advanced training program and was awarded the Clinical Fellowship in Spinal Surgery from Yonsei University in South Korea in 2017.
Dr. Yagi is dedicated to educational endeavors. He participates as faculty in national orthopedic and spinal surgery training programs in Sudan, where he mentors aspiring trainees and healthcare professionals.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Yagi served as an orthopedic and spinal surgeon at Omdurman Teaching Hospital in Sudan. Later, he worked as a consultant in the Department of Orthopedics at Central Hospital in Sharjah, handling a variety of spinal conditions ranging from simple trauma to degenerative disorders, infectious conditions, and deformities.
Dr. Yagi’s scope of practice includes spinal trauma, degenerative disorders, infectious diseases and deformities.
Dr. Yagi specializes in general orthopedic conditions, including fractures, and has extensive experience in managing spinal conditions such as trauma, degenerative disorders, infections and deformities.
