Dr. Muhammad Munir is a highly experienced Internal Medicine Specialist with over 25 years of clinical practice across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He has developed a strong focus on oncology and hematology over the past decade, building a reputation for delivering evidence-based care across both acute and outpatient settings. In addition to his clinical acumen, Dr. Munir is actively involved in education, mentoring Arab Board residents and leading academic sessions in internal medicine and oncology.
He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ayub Medical College in Pakistan, followed by an FCPS in Internal Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He holds an MRCP (UK) and passed the Specialty Certificate Examination in Medical Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians (UK). Dr. Munir maintains an active license with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Munir served as a Senior Resident and later as a Specialist at Zayed Military Hospital, where he contributed to oncology day care services, internal medicine on-call coverage, and regular outpatient clinics. His earlier roles include serving in the Ministry of Health in Riyadh and as a Medical Officer and Lecturer at leading institutions in Pakistan.
