Dr. Partha Pratim Saikia is a seasoned Specialist Anaesthesiologist with over 15 years of clinical experience across India, Kuwait, and the UAE. He brings extensive expertise in perioperative and critical care, with particular interests in trauma anaesthesia, sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and ultrasound-guided procedures. His practice combines clinical precision with a deep commitment to patient safety, pain management, and multidisciplinary care.
Dr. Saikia earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, India, and went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Anaesthesiology at the same institution. He holds a license from the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) and has received multiple recognitions for his excellence in anaesthetic care and emergency response.
Throughout his career, Dr. Saikia has held key roles in leading hospitals including Max Super Speciality Hospital (India), Ibn Sina Hospital and Al Jahra Hospital (Kuwait), and Life Line Hospital (Dubai). Since 2018, he has served as a Specialist Anaesthesiologist at Zayed Military Hospital, where he is actively involved in perioperative care, trauma management, regional blocks, and advanced ultrasound-guided interventions.
His clinical scope spans a wide range of procedures, from general and neuroanaesthesia to paediatric, labour, and cosmetic surgery cases. He is trained in numerous advanced techniques including brachial plexus blocks, peripheral nerve blocks, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest ultrasound. Dr. Saikia has also contributed to academic literature, co-authoring publications in international peer-reviewed journals on postoperative pulmonary care and controlled hypotension.
