Biography

Dr. Sant Das is a dedicated General Practitioner with over 20 years of diverse clinical experience across Pakistan, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. He brings to Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital a comprehensive background in outpatient, emergency, and occupational health care, with a strong emphasis on preventative medicine and chronic disease management.

Dr. Das earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Pakistan in 2002. He holds multiple certifications, including the Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP International), and is Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certified, having completed all three United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) steps. His training also includes Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, along with multiple regional medical licenses.

Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Das served at Zayed Military Hospital as a General Practitioner, providing both acute and chronic care for a broad range of medical conditions. His past experience also includes clinical roles at Mediclinic Middle East, Al Azhar Clinic, and various hospitals in Pakistan and the United States, where he managed emergency presentations, minor procedures, and inpatient care, while also participating in public health initiatives and research.

Dr. Das is well-versed in treating patients across different stages of care, from initial diagnosis and outpatient management to post-operative recovery. He has also worked closely with occupational health teams to assess workplace injuries, conduct periodic evaluations, and provide health education to minimize long-term complications in industrial settings.
