Dr. Nasir has more than 10 years of medical experience in internal medicine and acute patient care.
Dr. Nasir obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan, in 2011. She later completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In 2021, she was awarded the Certificate of Specialization in Internal Medicine by the Jordanian Medical Council and obtained certification from the Arab Board of Health Specializations in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Nasir has extensive clinical experience managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions across inpatient, emergency, and intensive care settings. Her work has included the management of acutely ill patients in emergency departments, general medical wards, and intensive care units. She has particular experience in cardiology services, including coverage of coronary care units (CCU), telemetry wards, and cardiology referrals. Dr. Nasir is also skilled in a range of procedural and critical care interventions, including the insertion of central venous lines, arterial lines, and the management of noninvasive ventilation. In addition to her clinical practice, she has contributed to academic activities including mentoring junior residents and organizing academic teaching sessions. She has also been involved in clinical research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at regional scientific meetings.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Nasir worked as a Senior Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Zayed Military Hospital, Abu Dhabi, where she managed patients across emergency, inpatient, and intensive care settings and played a key role in the care of patients admitted to dedicated COVID-19 wards during the early stages of the pandemic.
