Dr. Sulaiman has 19 years of medical experience in Family Medicine, with an extensive background in both Canadian and regional healthcare systems.
She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Mosul, Iraq. She later earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) and holds the Arab Board of Health Specialization in Family Medicine. Dr. Sulaiman is also certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
Dr. Sulaiman has served in both the Middle East and North America. Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, she practiced as a Consultant in Family Medicine at Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group in Dubai, and previously as a Family Physician at Altona Memorial Health Centre in Manitoba, Canada.
Dr. Sulaiman’s scope of practice includes comprehensive family medicine services, preventive care, chronic disease management, women’s and children’s health, and long-term care planning for patients of all ages
