Ahlam Sarhan is an experienced healthcare leader with more than 15 years of expertise in clinical operations, nursing management, and hospital administration. She currently serves as Director of Clinical Operations at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, where she leads the management of clinical services, supports operational excellence, and helps ensure high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Throughout her career, Ahlam has held leadership roles across reputable healthcare organizations in the UAE, including M42 – HealthPlus, where she served as Clinical Operational Manager and Nursing Manager across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai. She also brings previous experience from leading healthcare institutions including Mediclinic, Medcare, Suleiman Al Habib, and Emirates Hospital.
Ahlam holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Swiss Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Jordan. Her professional background is supported by certifications in Lean Six Sigma, ACLS, BLS, ECG, and DHA/DOH RN Licensure.
Her areas of expertise include clinical operations, strategic planning, team leadership, financial and resource management, quality improvement, education and training, and patient-centered care. She is fluent in Arabic and English and is committed to driving operational efficiency while enhancing the overall patient experience.
