Dr. Ahamed Muneef has more than 10 years of medical experience in general surgery.
He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in India before completing a Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery, also in India.
With extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of a broad range of general surgical conditions, Dr. Muneef has developed particular expertise in both open and minimally invasive procedures. His clinical practice includes the evaluation and treatment of elective and emergency surgical conditions, with a strong focus on laparoscopic surgery and comprehensive perioperative care, from initial assessment through postoperative recovery.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Muneef worked as a Specialist in General Surgery at LLH Medical Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he managed a wide variety of general surgical cases and provided patient-centered surgical care.
