Dr. Ahmed Samir Abdulsamad is a seasoned General Surgery Specialist with over 17 years of Surgical experience spanning Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. He brings a focused expertise in General Surgery & Surgical oncology with interest in Hernia & Gastrointestinal surgeries.
He got his research Doctorate degree (MD) in General Surgery with surgical oncology sub-specialization in colorectal cancer 2017 in Cairo university - Egypt, Master degree in General Surgery 2012 Cairo university - Egypt, with experience in head and neck ,gastrointestinal ,hepatobiliary, Hernias, Gall bladder, Anal Conditions, Laparoscopic & breast surgery with multiple research publications.
Prior to joining Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital, Dr. Ahmed served in various reputable hospitals, including Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, as well as Al Zahra Hospital under the Dubai Health Authority. His earlier academic tenure includes roles as a Consultant in the Department of Surgery in Police Hospitals in Cairo- Egypt.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmed Samir has actively contributed to academic research in the field of surgical oncology & General Surgery, with publications in respected peer-reviewed journals such as The Oncologist, JMIR Cancer, and The Medical Journal of Cairo University. His research focuses on the recent advances in surgical fields.
