Dr. Sara Alakberi has over three years of clinical experience in pediatric dentistry, with specialized training in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of oral health conditions in children.
Dr. Alakberi obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, in 2020. She later completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Pediatric Dentistry at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2025.
Dr. Alakberi is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based dental care for infants, children, and adolescents. Her clinical expertise includes behavior management and child psychology, preventive dentistry, pulp therapy for primary and young permanent teeth, stainless steel crowns, and treatment under nitrous oxide sedation. She also has experience in caries risk assessment and preventive strategies aimed at promoting lifelong oral health. Dr. Alakberi strives to create positive dental experiences that help children develop lifelong confidence in oral healthcare.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Alakberi has contributed to pediatric dental research through an exploratory study investigating the potential relationship between dental caries and macrophage activity in Emirati children. Her research also examined additional biological and environmental factors that may contribute to the development of dental caries, reflecting her interest in advancing preventive pediatric dentistry.
